Has anyone used manzanita braches in DIY centerpieces?  Also looking at using flower balls on some tables in a vase and some manzanita branches...I like the look of different table set-ups and manzanitas can get pricey. 

Any thoughts on where to get manzanitas and/or flower balls at a reasonable price?

I use manzanita wood in my planted aquariums.  Try ebay.  You can get a large piece for $40 - $45.

You can DIY flower balls super cheap. All you need is one of those little shaped paper cutters, Styrofoam balls, and a few sowing pins. Or if you want real flowers, you can get carnations, clip them at the base of the flower, and pin it to the foam ball.

if you are not objecting "fake" manzanitas, check out efavormart.com  saveoncrafts.com is also a good source.  You may just want to consider branches that are painted and you can add flowers and hanging crystals.  Also try http://www.bloomsandbranches.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1820

I did manzanita's for mine. Used them on a mirrored plate. The pic attached is from our Sweetheart Table, but the guest tables were setup basically the same, with a Table# sign hanging from the branch.

I suggest going to silk flowers on the flower balls or the paper flowers. Then you can have the balls ready weeks (or months) in advance and won't have to worry about doing them last minute so that the flowers look fresh. When planning my decor I tried to do it so that I would have very little to do the week of the wedding.
