Shoes as a wedding guest

My friend's wedding is coming up in March. I guess you would call it "formal", it's a banquet room, but the venue specializes in weddings, down by the bay. 

I have my dress already, cocktail style. Now for the shoes. I have this pair that are sparkly/metallic silver. They are the shoes I wore on my wedding day, but they aren't bridal (I picked them because I wanted something I would wear again). Basically they are fabulous, and there are only so many places you (or I should say I) can wear heels too, so I like to wear them when I can- but will I look like an AW wearing sparkly shoes as a wedding guest?

I think you are way overthinking this. Wear whatever shoes you'd like.

Wear the shoes. Everybody will know your shoes did not just get married and therefore, are not the attention of the day

No. You cannot wear sparkly shoes. I suppose you want to wear jewelry,too, and outshine the bride on her big day?

Yes, yes I do! With the dazzle I have planned, no one will know that my friend in the elegant white dress is the bride!

I wear sparkly shoes all the times to people's weddings. Because they are awesome.
As long as you aren't wearing a long white gown or an outfit that couldn't be shown on network tv, you're good.

I wear metallic heels and sparkly heels with jeans just going out to a bar. Agree with PPs, it's no big deal wear them away. Yay for fab shoes!

Rock out the shoes & dance the night away with sparkle. As long as you don't wear your wedding dress, you're good.
