Rehearsal Dinner Location Needed in the Birmingham Area

Hey,

I am looking for a good Rehearsal dinner location in the birmingham, troy, bloomfield hills, berkley area. Some of the older posts have ideas for restaurants that are closed down. Anyone know of some good places that are not terribly expensive?

When we were looking we found that many places had a different price than "off the menu" for large rehearsal dinners.

There is a restaurant in Warren, on Schoenherr between 14 Mile & 15 mile called Roger's Roost. It's not super fancy, it's really a sports bar, but they do have a private room for parties. I can't say for certain how many it holds, but looks to be about 30, maybe 40 people. Their food is really good and the portions are pretty large. We have never been disappointed with anything we have had there.

I looked into all the chain restaurants on Big Beaver, and Main St in Royal Oak. They were more than we wanted to pay.

Did you look at Big Rock Brewery in Birmingham?  http://bigrockchophouse.com/  It's outside of the downtown area so prices are more reasonable plus they have private spaces.  We had a work event there that was very nice.
