"Off Season" Wedding?!?

Hi Ladies! I'm newly engaged and looking to book a venue for 2016. My fiancé and I are very interested in White Oak Plantation and they have under their price list to ask about off season weddings for lower rates. I've left a message and am waiting for them to call back. We don't have a set in stone date yet and are also considering Parc 73 and Ashley Manor as reception venues. Anyone have any idea what's considered an off season wedding in Louisiana?

I know a lot of venues give discounts for weddings booked in July, August and sometimes September.  I think its because those months don't typically have a lot of weddings either due to the sweltering heat or it being the height of hurricane season.

Another venue in Baton Rouge, run by the same people as Parc 73, is Oak Lodge off of Sherwood Forest.  Very unique venue and great people.  We were highly considering them, but opted to have an out of town wedding instead.
