Bridesmaid bouquets yay or nay????

I'm trying to decide if I want to do bouquets for my bridesmaids or not. Has anyone ever done without? 

We've booked the Stardust room for 6/13/2015 and are doing the ceremony and reception in it. Because we splurged on the room so much I'm having to cut costs other places. I'm not sure if I will or not but this was one place I thought we could cut costs.

Thoughts and reccomendations would greatly be appreciated.

The girls standing up with me are carrying clutches. I just can't justify $95 per bouquet when they're probably going to forget it somewhere.

If you really want bouquets..you can go with fake ones. I bought some from China and my sister put them together. Cost me a total of $150. 

I don't think they are a necessity. You could go with a clutch or a single flower.

I like the idea of the clutch because they will get more use out of it. And everytime it's used they'll remember it. I like that idea a lot! Thanks!

I'm not a fan of bouquets so I'm really thinking of not going with them. I want something practical.

I got paper bouquets and bouts from a shop on Etsy. They are gorgeous and they can be kept. Total cost was about $65.

I've seen bridesmaids carrying a single flower. I think it looks simple and pretty.

My bridesmaids carried clutches which they were trilled with and ended up using all weekend.
I bought an extra set and forgot to return them so if you're interested in gold clutches, I'll sell you three for thirty dollars total. They're gold.
Got both sets from charming Charlie's who has great prices and lots of variety

To cut costs, I like the idea of a single bloom - I think it would look very elegant!

My MIL is making corsages (my color is an eggplant purple) with a brooch for each of the girls and she is also making my brooch bouquet

Thanks ladies. I ended up buying some real touch roses and calla lillies from ebay. They were really cheap and just what I was looking for. Each bouquet ended up being about 20 bucks to make.
