Grooms suit and wedding colors

My wedding colors are coral and gold and originally my fiancee and I talked about a tradition black tux. Lately he has been talking about a navy suit. I like the look of a navy suit but I do not want to add the color navy into my color scheme. Would it look okay to have a navy suit and nothing else navy or would I have to incorporate navy into my wedding. Any advise welcome.  Thanks!

Yep, perfectly fine. Navy is a neutral, same as black.

  • A navy suit goes perfectly with your colors. No need to have additional navy anywhere.
  • I think a navy suits will be fine with your colors. I personally like navy and coral together. I don't see any reason to add the navy in the rest of the wedding. It will look nice!

  • Coral, gold and navy!? Sounds beautiful. You don't need to incorporate navy as a color in the rest of your wedding. I'm not having a "wedding color scheme". My bridesmaids and MOH dresses are plum (Bill Levkoff), and as far as flowers go, I'm just doing fall colors, there will be plum I'm sure but just because it's a nice fall color, ha!
