makeup - ColourPop

has anyone ever tried ColourPop? I saw a few NikkieTutorials on YouTube, and she used some of their products that were really pretty. I ordered a few things from them (everything was $5ea!!!) and tried them out this morning - the eyeshadow is a little creamy but not greasy, and very pretty on - great color saturation. I thought it was funny that the lipstick reviews all commented on how good it smelled - and I have to agree - the lipstick smelled great! (almost a vanilla/fresh baked cookie smell - really rich - not a cheap fake vanilla).

They don't test on animals, which is awesome.

Also kind-of awesome - they included a personalized, handwritten thank you note with the order.

I'm buried in cosmetics, but I would absolutely order from them again - especially if i wanted to experiment with some new colors/looks and not spend a lot of money.

  • There are a ton of reviews out there for them. As much as I hate the word lippie, I do want to try their Lippie Stix. I have a jillion eyeshadows and I've been recently spoiled silly with my purchases so I'm going to hold off on their shadows although they get great reviews.
  • I loved this holiday look that she did. i tried the "get lucky" color today, and it was really pretty.

  • hmm, I haven't loved any of my eyeshadow purchases, so I'll keep this in mind :)

I've seen them making the rounds on YT.  That and makeupgeek which I haven't tried either.  I've just got too much to justify more....maybe.

ETA:  I lied I have the MUG Vegas palette.  *ugh*
