scared for job interviews

I have two job interviews lined up in the next two weeks- one via video conference and one in person. The interviews are with high ranking people in the company- one with a director and one with a VP. I'd basically be their project coordinator and technical assistant. 

Here comes the challenging part. I'm still somewhat bald. I have a "buzz cut" right now as my hair starts to grow in. I have a wig, but I also have horrible hot flashes and the wig makes them worse. I personally feel like I should wear my wig for these interviews, but then what happens when my hair is grown to a pixie cut. Everyone will be "where did your hair go?" LOL 

I'm probably being super insecure about all of this, as I struggle to re-acclimate to normal life. But, WWYD in this situation?

I'd probably wear the wig and then if anyone asked when rocking the pixie cut, either answer truthfully or just be like "it's cute, isn't it? " or be like "low maintenance bitches.

I'm scared of getting a hot flash during the interview. My face gets super red and I get a little lightheaded. Damn menopause!!!!

If you feel most comfortable about your appearance wearing the wig, then wear it for the interview. Then rock the pixie cut once it's grown out and don't worry about what anyone thinks. If anyone asks you can either tell them the situation, or say "It's cute, isn't it?" like @chibiyui suggested.

I personally would never ask someone about their hair, but I understand the concern. 

Honestly, I think a buzz cut and the growing out process in general is beautiful.

OK, I may be way off base, but are you doing your video conference from home? Can you wear your wig, and a professional blazer and top, but also wear shorts and no shoes. Maybe put a fan under the table? The interviewer wouldnt be able to see  that right? It might help you stay cool for at least one of the interviews.

The other interview I would recommend wear light fabric, like cotton, silk or linen. It could help you from over heating. Also stay hydrated.

If anyone asks about where your hair went, say your got a hair cut. No need to explain.

Agree with the PPs re: wig for interview, pixie for real life, nonchalant response when people (inevitably. I've done "the chop" so many times and people can't help themselves) comment.

Another "keep cool" trick might be to hide a cold pack in your clothes (for the in-person one) but that might be easier said than done...

The video conference will be from work and the way the camera is angled, they would probably see part of my legs. So, I could potentially wear a lightweight black pant so they can't really tell what they are from afar. 

As for the in person interview, I hope it's cold in Fort Worth that day. LOL

I totally read your comment while still having the "confidence is beautiful" comment in my mind and I was totally nodding my head thinking "yea, I could see how that would help."

There is something seriously wrong with me.
