One project down; 3 bazillon to go!

So I didn't get the flower girl pail done last night. Still a loser. But I bought the ribbons so that should count a little bit!

But I did get the postcard RSVPS, envelope seals and a few other things done on Vistaprint! I designed them myself and they look adorable IMHO. Best part? The 100 postcards cost me $2.50 for the photo upload of two goldfish (plus their portion of the shipping and handling). I might actually get response cards in under $10! Now I just have to wait two weeks for them to arrive ... then I'll post pictures to show you what they look like. Smile

    Wooo! Ribbon totally counts.

Your fish theme is adorable, can't wait to see the cards.

Yeah - adorable theme. Please post pictures when you get them!

I'm in a DIY rut right now so I need some motivation. I just can't make up my mind about anything.

Thanks guys -- can I just say how much I like all of you? Wonderful, wonderful women!!

Colsta -- so whatcha fretting about? What can't you make up your mind about? Maybe you can bounce some idea off us? That always works for me - plus once I explain something - I think of something cool to do to it. Like my chocolate bouquet to toss. I think I'm soooo going to do that. And that came from joking around!

Snarky - I just can't decide on which vases to use for centerpieces (which will just be gerber daisies) and what ribbon to buy. Really boring stuff that I just need to get and then be happy with. I keep going and looking at ribbons and then not buying it. I'm just weird like that though!

What's this chocolate bouquet? I don't think I saw that anywhere yet?

I was joking on nanna's "show me" bouquet post .. I said I was having white daisies and blue hydrangeas and had to find something brown like roses. Then I joked about just putting chocolates in the bouquet for a snack and that got me thinking. When you do the bouquet toss, most are not really the bride's flowers anyway. I was thinking how many woman would rather have chocolates (wrapped of course!) instead. So now I'm contemplating a DIY one. Plus, the number of single ladies in my group of friends is likely able to be counted on one hand.

My BFF/MOH just reminded me that its going to be in the 80s that day and chocolate would melt .. still. Cool idea.

Snarky, maybe you could do something like M&Ms put in a flower shape somehow. Those would be less likely to melt. You could pick out the brown and blue ones ;)
