Decor to match the dress...

I'm in love with Art Deco style jewlery and decor for my July wedding, the venue I'll be perfect for it. I'm just worried that my lace key hole fit and flair isn't really Art Deco style. I'm feeling like it won't all come together in the end. Thoughts? imageimageimageimage

  • It's beautiful, and will go great with your theme.

  • You are overthinking this.

  • It's beautiful and will go with the look you are going for wonderfully

  • It's a beautiful dress! If you like it, go for it! Your dress doesn't have to fit your theme, but if you really REALLY want it to, you can just say that you're early art deco or between art deco and art nouveau (design nerd, sorry).

  • You are overthinking this.  No one is going to notice or care that your dress is one style and venue another, in this respect.  The only time I have ever noticed anything like this is when the formality of the dress is greatly out of place for the formality of venue - such as someone wearing a Cinderella-esque ballroom gown to a casual beach or backyard wedding or someone wearing a more casual slip-dress or sundress style to a formal evening reception in a ballroom.
  • It'll be perfect.
  • Love the dress! I think you'd just have to adjust the art deco style a bit and somehow insert some romantic vintage elements.
  • It will look great. Who's the designer?
