How long did it take to receive your photos / video?

Hi married ladies!

Just curious. A videographer I saw said that the video can take anywhere from 3 weeks to ONE YEAR to receive after the wedding, depending on how back-loged he is, while my photographer said he always has all of the photos to the couple within a month after the wedding. 

Is this pretty standard? Or was your experience different?

Of course we haven't had our wedding yet but I was speaking to our photographer yesterday and she said that she would have our wedding pictures to us in 3 to 4 weeks. I have a tendecny to believe her because she is a good friend. I also had a friend get married last summer and it was about a month before her photos were online for her to order.

My wedding was 4/17, and I just received my online photos yesterday...so two weeks.  The video may take a month or two, but no longer than that.

Our wedding was like the first of the season for both our videog and photog.  We had our video on our one month anniversary and our photo proofs one month out, but the CD of all prints 6 weeks.

I commented on how quick it was, and our videog said during the summer when there is a wedding a week, it will be Christmas before he gets the videos back to people.  It takes him 2-3 weeks to edit and everything, so it just gets backed up.  Makes sense to me.

We got our pictures back in less than a month.
