What's your style?

What does everyone have planned as far as style of wedding? This is not a first wedding for Adam or me.  We are not traditional people by any means and the wedding won't be traditional either.  It will be small, outside and celtic-inspired.  We're not sure of any details yet.

We are doing ours a little different than what all of our friends & family expected. We are going on a cruise with just family and getting married on the beach, and then having a casual party when we get back. We usually do a couple big parties at our house, so it made sense to have one when we came back. It will have a beachy feel to the party, we are doing it outdoors. The hardest part is finding a good balance between beachy decor & not luau, its a fine line we are walking lol

Neither Adam or I are Christian so our ceremony will be sure to either A)piss some family off or B)surprise them and possible C) Cause them not to come at all.

HI,

We are having an Harlem Reinsurance Wedding. It's going to be small at my church. We have a small budget of $3,000 so we are looking for ways to make it nice and still stay in our budget.

We won't have alcohol but we will have an Italian Soda bar with 3 different flavors so that should be fun.

Dancing - no much dancing but we will have a 20s playlist playing and we plan on having a photo booth for guest to take pictures.

We just started the planning but I'm trying to get as much done as possible early.

We're doing a mix of classic with our own little twists...already have my dress and planning to order navy blue sequined converse sneakers for my shoes (I hate wearing heels, the blisters I get last forever it feels like!) My flowers are being handmade out of fabric (bought on Etsy), my girls are wearing navy blue dresses but their own style. Guys are in grey tuxes with coral vests and ties. Flower girls in white with coral sashes. Music is all picked out for the ceremony and reception. Honeymoon is booked! Feeling like it's all coming together!!!

@christineh13186  LOVE the converse! Where are you getting yours? I want some for our party when we get back. I was thinking of just making my own since I found a picture online I really like (ones I would acutally wear again too)

Beauty and the beast theme! My dress is very full, champagne and burgundy with a long train. Groom will be in his army dress blues . My maid of honor and bridesmaids will carry 1 red rose, I will carry 6 red roses to signify all our children (2nd marriage for both of us) and 2 white roses to signify him and I. ..our first dance is going to be beauty and the beast although it's not "our song!)
