I did it!!!

Finally, I bit the bullet and got my first tattoo last night. I'm not going to lie, but it fucking HURT!!!! I knew it would, but holy shit!!!

Thank you to everyone who gave me advice. I really appreciate it.

One of my friends just (like 6 months ago) started apprenticing at a tattoo shop and keeps trying to get me to come in..but I'm such a wuss! Plus, I don't know what I would want on me forever and ever. I change my mind too much.

Oh man the tattoo I got on the top of my foot was the most painful of the three I have. And mine was just script text. You're brave! Congrats. Now you'll start planning your next one.... So addicting!

I love it! 

The top of the foot is supposed to be really painful, but it didn't hurt too too badly for me (thankfully; I'd have never gotten another one). The one that hurt the most for me was the collarbone one.

It really did hurt, but I'm glad I did it. I wasn't expecting it to be so big!!! Lol

My friend Karen came with me. I would not have gone through with it without her. She was holding my hand, talking to me, etc. She's planning out her third one, a unicorn on her shoulder blade. I can see myself getting more, but it'll definitely be down the line.

The colors turned out SO nice! I love it. Tattoo artists have told me that it's hard to get a nice pink, looks like your guy did a fantastic job.

The guy told me the same thing, but he suggested a deeper pink. (Can't remember the name). The blue is called Aquamarine.

Thank you, @teddygirl9‌. I was/am the same way. If you really want one then get one that is meaningful to you. Mine was to honor my dog, Candy that I had growing up. As far as the pain, it'll hurt no matter where you put it, but some areas hurt more than others. I won't lie, the foot HURTS!!!! I was told the ankle doesn't hurt as bad as the foot. Have someone go with you to distract you, and to hold your hand. Some areas of the foot hurt more than others, but I was glad to have my friend's hand to squeeze.
