@novella1186, I turn 29 this year too. Fortunately, though, I'm the only one of my friend group still under 30, so I never really have to feel old.

FI is three months younger than me, though, so I do tease him about that, especially as he was a grade below me in school.
Yeah FI is 10 months younger than me, and all his friends are about a year to two years younger, so when we hang out with them I'm always the oldest. Bleh.

Another turning 29 this year girl here. I'm already calling it my 'first 29th birthday' I look 16 anyways so I figure I can get away with being 29 for at least 10 years...

My dad has this group of coworkers who's families get together for christmas every year and have been for the last 20 years. I've missed a couple over the years now that I'm 'grown up' and far away and busy with life. I went this year and this one son was awkwardly hitting on me all night. And I was like... Dude! I was 13 when you were born! I remember you being born! I held you when you were a baby! back off!

  • Happy Birthday! V and I have birthdays that are only 3 days apart. So we combined our birthdays together. Mine is Nov 3rd and his is Nov 6th, I'm 21 and he is 29 ha. Last birthday V and I went to go see Varekai Cirque Du Soleil, that was a lot of fun. V mainly did that for me but he said he had fun too. We also went to this really nice restaurant that had a cool atmosphere and I enjoyed it.

He also surprised me by having my aunt and mom there. They live kinda far away so I wasn't expecting that. It was great! But I think mellow events are more enjoyable than high energy. Like I would pick dinner over a club. But as we get established in our careers, I'm sure we will combined celebrations and go on cool vacations!
