Vow and Reading Ideas from Literature or Movies

So I don't want to use the readings that people always use. (Corinthians is great but everyone has it). I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas from books and movies but not super romantic ones that everyone uses (No to Wuthering Heights, Romeo and Juliet, etc)

Ideas?

Simone de Beauvoir wrote a huge number of very sweet letters to both Jean Paul Sartre and Nelson Algren, also. You could look some of those up, but keep in mind that, as letters typically do, they ramble a bit. You may have to cut certain pieces out of those, rather than using the entire letter.

I really liked the vows in The Corpse Bride. "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. *takes hand of SO*  Your cup will never empty, For I will be your wine.  *fills wine glass*  With this candle, I will light your way in darkness.  *lights candle*   With this ring, I ask you to be mine  *puts ring on finger*".
