TV Withdrawal

I'm having serious TV withdrawal symptoms this weekend.
Netflix usually does it for me, but nothing on my queue sounds even remotely interesting right now.
My favorite website has decided to shut down and now I can no longer catch up on TV show episodes/series that I missed.  And I hate jumping into a show without seeing it from the beginning.
I was able to get all caught up on Supernatural and Grimm today.  But I'm still missing a bunch of Revenge, Once Upon a Time, 100 and Big Bang Theory that is so far back I can't use the show websites.

Anyone have any suggestions on websites I can utilize to catch up on missed episodes (think at least a season away) or shows that are available on Netflix?

  • Oh god I thought this was going to be about it as a birth control method.

I can't answer your question. Carry on.

Haha.  I changed it.  I think I've read enough about withdrawal as a form of BC on this forum for a little while.

  • No help here.. Netflix is all we ever have.. OH, and rabbit ears.. Your post totally reminded me though.. we bought a new camp trailer from my FI's boss and he called this weekend asking about stuff we wanted with it. In that list of things was a dish, FI informed him we don't even have dish at home so he wouldn't need it for work.. yes, it took about a 10 minute conversation for him to let it sink in that we don't have dish and don't want it hehe.

  • I often find that Amazon Prime has different offerings than Netflix.  We were super pissed when Netflix took away past seasons of 24 just as DH and I were getting into re-watching them, but Amazon recently added them to the Prime offering.  So, you may want to check there.

Of course, if you don't already have an Amazon Prime account, it would cost money for membership.  But, most of the shows you mentioned above are available for free with Prime. And I now buy EVERYTHING on Amazon due to the free Prime shipping.

Same here. We actually canceled Netflix once they dropped 24. (I already had a Prime membership.)

Amazon also has The League and Always Sunny. SO HILARIOUS.

  • we have been using hulu (once in awhile) or the networks website to catch up on current seasons. anything else we have been using amazon prime. cbs has some shows that go directly on there after every weekly episode. thats how FI and i caught up on Under the Dome and fell in love with it.

This spring we got rid of cable and opted for Fire TV w/Prime.  Between that, Netflix, and Hulu I can pretty much always find something.  You can find Revenge and (I believe) Once Upon a Time on Hulu.  There are still some CBS shows I like that I have to watch on my computer because they aren't on any of those, but I'll get over it.

I did this over the fall.  So glad they decided on another season this summer!
