Happy Monday

Saturday H and I were adults and did adults things (bank, trip to Costco, laundry, etc.).  We were very proud of ourselves.

Yesterday, I got up early for my first event of the race season!  It was just a 4-mile run, but I did fucking' AWESOME (for me).  Set a PR and finished really strongly; total after race high.

Of course I used that as an excuse to drink plenty o' beer and eat plenty o' nachos when H and I went out to watch the Superbowl at the local dive bar.

Not the most exciting weekend, but pretty pleased with it all the same!

There is no such thing as a "happy Monday". 

All I wanted to do this morning was sleep forever. I came in to enough dictation to keep me busy until 2, plus the secretary for the firm we space-share with refused to answer her lines for the entire morning (which is ridiculous since when I went back there last she was freaking reading. Not impressed.) plus it's icky and grey outside plus FI, that rat, is at home because he almost always has Monday off. It's not FAIR I TELL YOU!!!!
