Wedding Photos in Red Bank

Hi Knotties!
My fiancé and I are getting married this summer in Red Bank. We're planning to do a first look and take wedding party photos outside if the weather cooperates with us. Our original plan was to go to Asbury Park and take photos with the cool graffiti in the old casino as our backdrop, but we would hate to get caught up in summer traffic. Any suggestions for some fun, outdoor places to take photos in Red Bank? Thanks so much everyone! :)

Re: Wedding Photos in Red Bank

  • It is not IN Red Bank, but we are considering taking out photos at Holmdel Park or Deep Cut Gardens. Our hotel is in Red Bank, but the reception is at Addison Park in Aberdeen, so both parks are on the way.
  • My sister got married at the Molly Pitcher and they took some great photos along the river walk. Also, they went down to the marina and took some pics there as well. They didn't have time to travel off of the property, but there are some cool old buildings you could use as a backdrop, if you wanted a city feel. You could google "Molly pitcher wedding photos" or other nearby venues, and check out photographers' blogs to see what they did and get ideas. Good luck!

  • Not really on topic, but if you're getting married in Red Bank I highly recommend the Red Bank wedding walk on March 22nd. We did it last year and it was a really fun day. You walk around the town and meet all of these wedding related vendors. It's a good way to see different parts of town and maybe find a couple spots for photos
  • Thank you, ladies!

@Giaspo - I will definitely follow your advice!

@amt6 Thank you! I've heard of Deep Cut Gardens and will check it out.

@ctr24 - Yes! I've heard of the wedding walk. My bridesmaids and I went last year and it was so much fun. My friend even won pearl earrings from Tiffany and Co. I'm planning to go again this year and I can definitely check out some spots for photos. :)

@karinaesco24 - I'm wondering what you came up with. Our original plan was to go to Deep Cut Gardens, but we've since decided it made more sense to do our first look at Riverside Gardens Park and photos in Red Bank.
