1. What are you looking forward to most this year?

Yay! easy question! Getting married. The honeymoon to Newport will be good too.  

2. What song can you never change when it comes on the radio, no matter how many times you've heard it?

Hmm. Harder... Total Eclipse of the Heart. I love that song, because, catchy.... but also because it brings me back to freshman year of college. I was taking a painting class for upperclassmen, and we had a painting due the next day. We were all in the studio working, and someone decided to go get boxed wine, aka, juice. Which I love. And we listened to music and sang that song really loudly. Or, at least I did, because I'm a total lightweight even now, and that was the first time I ever drank more than a few sips of anything with alcohol in it. 

3. Are you afraid of flying?

No. But I'm a paranoid person. I think about worst case scenarios all the time, even when it's completely illogical. Like "I'm out in the open. I could get shot right now." Yeah. Bummer. Sorry. Anyway, with flying, I get those thoughts as well. "Shit. There could be a storm. I could die in a plane crash. Someone could hijack the plane." but I also know there is a very slim chance of that happening, and I am a paranoid person, so I still fly. Those thoughts are mostly contained to take off and landing though, because I watch movies in the middle of flying, or read. And I tend to like plane food. I treat myself by buying the way too expensive crackers and cheese (BRIE) sometimes. 

4. How do you feel about porn? Like it, watch it, hate it, think it's cheating, no opinion?

Don't hate it. I haven't really ever watched real porn. When I was a freshman in college (omg... theme?) my guy friend showed me "pterodactyl" porn. That is, two guys dressed up as pterodactyls who made screeching noises. It was funny. I read a shit ton of porn (romance novels, bad smutty free fanfiction) though. I love that. So does FI because  it gets me in the mood really quickly. I don't see it as cheating, but sometimes I feel badly that all those naughty words get me worked up so easily, but making out with FI doesn't... at least not in the same way. Sometimes I read it and feel a little gross afterwards though (mostly after horrible smutty fanfiction. Romance novels are usually all butterflies and hearts and flowers).

 FI is super weird about porn though. I know he watches it, but he gets all embarrassed about it and tries to hide it. I wish he wouldn't. I'd even watch it with him. TMI?

every time "Call me Maybe" comes on I'm like WTF I can't listen to this shit ever again. And then if I keep it on for too long I can't change it and I'm singing along!

"Hey Ma" by Cameron. Brings back memories from a house party at my friend's house when I was like 15 - I think that song was playing all weekend.

I don't understand how people think it's cheating. I know FI watches it alone and I don't care- he's not addicted to it. I watch it alone sometimes too and we've watched together.

I don't think it's TMI. I think a lot of guys are probably like that. They might feel like it's not something that's OK- a lot of people DON'T think it's OK. I honestly think it's perfectly normal.

1. What are you looking forward to most this year?

Definitely getting married and the honeymoon! Also looking forward to a few friends' weddings and of course the Knot weddings here on NEY

Anything from 90s/high school. I always get excited when I hear "Juicy" or J.Lo "Get Right". Brings me right back, love it.

Definitely not afraid, just get annoyed if I have a poor seat assignment. I'm definitely looking forward to a flightseeing excursion we're doing in Alaska for the honeymoon.

I really have no opinion on porn. If you want to watch- go for it. If you don't want to-then don't. I definitely wouldn't view it as cheating, when it gets out of control it's an unhealthy obsession.

1. What are you looking forward to most this year? Tie between getting married, getting my Ph.D., and going on our honeymoon.

2. What song can you never change when it comes on the radio, no matter how many times you've heard it? "Forget You" by Cee Lo Green. Or "Hotel California" - that song defined senior design. I'd never heard a room of 16 people sing that with more fervor. We all worked on our projects in the same computer lab (pity the 15 sophomores crammed around 1 computer), and it was the only song we would crank the radio for.

3. Are you afraid of flying? Kind of? I've only flown once, and I was a kid, so I don't think I really have an opinion on flying.

4. How do you feel about porn? Like it, watch it, hate it, think it's cheating, no opinion? Watch it. I don't think FI does though.

1. What are you looking forward to most this year? BF and I are talking about moving in together if he gets a PRA position. There's also a chance we could end up doing long distance though if another opportunity works out for him but I'm focusing more on the possibility of living together! Also, getting engaged because even though we're going to have to push back when we want to get married (again) we've both agreed we don't want to push back getting engaged any longer.

2. What song can you never change when it comes on the radio, no matter how many times you've heard it? Don't Stop Believing (Journey, duh), Under Pressure (Queen/David Bowie), and Blackbird (The Beatles) are the songs I never turn away from.

3. Are you afraid of flying? No. I get really horrible travel anxiety but it centers around the possibility of missing my flight not the actual flying. I'm not a fan of take off though, I prefer when BF is with me and can hold my hand. I'm fine once we are at cruising altitude though.

4. How do you feel about porn? Like it, watch it, hate it, think it's cheating, no opinion? I watch it occasionally. I know BF watches it. We've watched it together. I don't consider it cheating at all and neither does BF. I would only have a problem with it if BF watched it so much that it impacted our relationship (like he'd rather watch porn than have sex with me).

1. What are you looking forward to most this year? Hopefully figuring out the next step of my career and moving into a job/position that I enjoy.

3. Are you afraid of flying? Nope! I have even flown a plane myself before too. I am one of those weirdos who thinks turbulence is fun. I have had to calm down many other passengers nearby with my pilot knowledge and explain that what was happening was normal and nothing to be concerned about. 

4. How do you feel about porn? Like it, watch it, hate it, think it's cheating, no opinion? I don't watch it, but I do enjoy romance novels. I haven't read any in a while though. FI likes to look at it/watch it. He was so embarrassed when I accidentally caught him. I told him I don't mind it, and if he needs to look at it to relax (especially if I am not in the mood that night), then that's fine, as long as he doesn't go any further and cheat on me with someone.

1. What are you looking forward to most this year?  Definitely finishing my PhD and moving on to the next chapter of my life.  I'm so done with grad school it isn't even funny.

3. Are you afraid of flying?  I don't like it, but not exactly because I'm afraid of it...it's just crowded and uncomfortable and I basically only ever fly for work, so it's not fun.

Christmas! I'm not usually a big Christmas person, but this year will be our first with the baby. Also, we're planning to go out East to see all my family and hopefully spend a couple days in NC visiting my BFF in her new home.

Not at all. My dad flew F14s in the Navy and i've been around planes and aircraft carriers from a very young age. I actually enjoy flying.

I don't like it or watch it, but I don't hate it. I definitly don't think it's cheating. I do think it can become an addiction. No, but the last time we flew (back from San Diego) I had a little panic attack because I thought I smelled smoke.  That's when I knew that my anxiety was out of control, so back to the doctor I went.  Normally I love flying!

Most of it is terrible quality, but there is some porn I really like. I don't think of it as cheating at all, and FI and I watch it together semi-regularly (he also watches on his own). I think that when used in the right way, it can be a great thing for your sex life. Contrary to what @CocoBellaF inferred, it doesn't need to replace actual sex. In my experience, porn can make actual sex even better.

This weekend with @swazzle, @buddysmom80 and @hummingbird125 seeing @swazzle's new house and celebrating my 30th birthday!!! They even all helped my sister plan to fly in from Oklahoma for the weekend and surprise me!!!

 

Beyond that, @hummingbird125 and @goldenpenguin's weddings and assorted wedding festivities, my sister coming home in March, and again in July when the whole family will go on vacation in Maine. That's as far as I have anything planned

Anything that brings us closer to a new home!  Our 1st anniversary too (I was already looking at having our top tier of our cake re-made)!!

-Vacations! We are going to Cabo in April, and hopefully do a little driving vaycay in the fall.

-I don't like it. I think it gives boys/men and unreal view of sex from an early age. Probably because there's so much fake/weird stuff out there. Like, most women don't look like porn stars and don't orgasm like that. I don't think its cheating, but it's pretty unrealistic in most cases lol.

1. What are you looking forward to most this year?

Everything wedding-related... partying in Vegas for my bachelorette, marrying my best friend, and spending 10 days nerding out in Orlando at Harry Potter World and Walt Disney World.

There are a lot... anything by The Beatles, "Breathe" by Michelle Branch, "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison, anything by Britney or NSYNC, "The Sign" by Ace of Base... the list goes on and on.

3. Are you afraid of flying?

Nope. I do think about how terrible it would be to be in a plane crash before we take off, but otherwise I really enjoy flying. I went on my first flight as a really young kid (maybe 4ish?), and it was a really cool experience. My dad and I flew at night, so I was enthralled by the stars. However, when my sinuses were bad, I dreaded flying... always felt like my head was going to explode as we landed. I'm really looking forward to flying post-sinus surgery.

4. How do you feel about porn? Like it, watch it, hate it, think it's cheating, no opinion?

I don't really have an opinion on it. I don't personally watch it, but if it's your thing, go on and watch it. It's definitely not cheating, but if it becomes an addiction and is prioritized over a relationship, well, that's a problem. My ex was really into it, but FI isn't all that obsessed.

Maybe this is just nitpicky of me but it really irks me that it seems like in society we pretend that women don't watch porn too. If it gives men unrealistic expectations (which I'm not convinced it does - maybe some, but not all) then it must given women unrealistic expectations as well.
