The Madison Hotel - Conservatory

I am thinking about having my wedding (March 2016) at the Conservatory at the Madison hotel in Morristown.
All the reviews I read are good but I am just nervous. I read a really scathing review on yelp.

Any brides have experience with them? I appreciate any tips about having a wedding there. Thanks!!!

I was considering the Madison when FH and I were venue hunting the glass room was so beautiful, the one main drawback was that you had to share the common bathroom with hotel guests.  We were looking to have the ceremony in the glass room and the reception in the ballroom.  Also I didn't like the fact that there wasn't really a bridal suite.  Otherwise the room is absolutely beautiful and I loved the old train car to take pics

We looked there and one of the things I remember is one of the indoor rooms (not sure which one) seemed depressing.  I can't remember if the ceilings were low or there were no windows or what.  It would've only been used for cocktail hour (we would've had the ceremony/reception in the conservatory), but that room was a huge turnoff.

I ended up at the View on the Hudson in Piermont Ny its like 10 minutes from jersey .  We saw their sister site in Old Tappan NJ and liked it but didn't love it bc they don't have a option for a outdoor ceremony.  So we visited their sister site and loved it!

We also looked there and the conservatory room is beautiful but a little small for our reception (150 guests).  I wasn't a fan of the indoor reception ballroom, sort of too dark.  We wound up booking at the Highlawn Pavilion, which has lots of windows and fit our size group.
