Beach engagement pictures in the winter!

My FH and I are taking our engagement pictures next weekend at a beach in SF.  I'm trying to figure out what to wear.  I figure I'll put him in jeans and a button up probably, but seriously don't know about me.  The weather is supposed to be pretty decent (high 60's), but we're doing the photos in the late afternoon, early evening.  I like a be achy look but I also don't want to be freezing, and I don't want to look like I'm necessarily dressing for summertime.  Any suggestions and pictures are welcome for both my outfit and his!  Thank you!

Could you do a dress and boots, with a cardigan if you get chilly? Or skinny jeans, a ruffly top (again with a cardigan) and flats you can kick off if it's warm enough to stand barefoot in the sand. High 60s is swimming weather for Michiganders but I don't know about Cali people!

Thanks!  I guess some people could swim in that weather in CA, but generally, we're babies with the weather.  I for sure am, and SF is very windy!  Thanks for the ideas and congrats on the baby!

We did our engagement photos on the beach in October, the weather was probably around 60 degrees. My fiance (now husband!) wore dark jeans and a v-neck sweater over a button-down shirt. I wore skinny jeans, knee-high boots, and a fitted shirt (I didn't want the shirt blowing around and making me look bigger than I am...I have a waist and I wanted it to show!) and also a light scarf. Personally I thought the pictures came out great. :-)
