@Chibiyui, are those actual doors in the shoes?  Like, they really open?  I love shoes that are basically just art.

I actually just bought my wedding shoes today too!  Totally spur of the moment.... we walked by Kleinfeld, they were having a crazy sale, and I found some really sick shoes.

ETA: In case you guys were thinking it but not saying it.  Our florist was able to give us a great deal and we are not accepting my friends' offer to help DIY flowers.  I would not ask my BMs to work and then walk around in Jimmy Choos.

Didn't start out that way. I did buy some heels, but due to the storm I would have slipped on my  ass and hurt myself.  So I wore these.

I like those. Always better to be sensible and safe. It's more embarrassing to fall on your wedding day than to not wear the shoes you planned on wearing. I have a cheap white pair of flats as my back up!

no regrets.  I was working on a boat for years at the time of the wedding.  We didn't wear shoes on the boat.    So I wold wear sandals to work, take them off for 8-12 hours then put them back on to go home.  I had notbusiness wearing heels.

Yeah, I'm definitely bringing some sandals or ballet flats for the later hours of the reception.  I'm pretty good with heels, but no matter how comfortable they are, after four hours they still feel like heels.

Now see if I was going to get Jimmy's the would NOT be for a pair of white shoes I would never wear again.  I don't wear white shoes.  I actually hate white shoes.

Nope the practical side of me would at least buy a pair I would wear little more often.

I bought these cheap on Amazon (click the broken looking link and it should still show.) They're super easy to walk in because the platform makes the heel deceptively low.
