So FI never really proposed, while we were finalizing his divorce we sort of just agreed we were getting married and started planning. When I first got on here I quickly realized the lack of proposal didn't mean I was any less engaged. I was fine with that and just happy to be marrying FI.
He had other ideas. I got a PPD proposal today! My friend took me out to get my hair and nails done today supposedly for my bday tomorrow. Then she drove me out to this beautiful park Fi and I regularly go for hikes. FI was waiting she dropped me off and drove away. He took me inside this little cabin where he had a wine and cheese picnic laid out. I thought it wa a cute little early bday date and we sat and talked and drank.
He got up and pulled his guitar out that was hidden and started playing a song he wrote. I kinda realized where it was going and started to tear up. After te first verse the rest of his band came in one by one and joined in. He had a buddy of his who is a photographer video the whole thing. I may have ruined his "vision" since as soon as he stopped playing I practically tackled him before he could finally officially ask. FSS brought in the ring and seeing how were planning a wedding I said yes!
Also now I had one thing I can check off the to do list. He had his friend do a full engagement shoot. He showed us some of the pics at dinner and I can't wait to get them!
