    Work computer is a Lenovo and it's great. 

    We have a Sony Vaio and Toshiba.  I'd recommend the Vaio for sure.

    I loved my hp for 3 years.  The only reason I needed a new one is a certain someone (Max) knocked it off and broke the case.  Duct tape got me through for awhile, but it was beyond repair.

    My home laptop is a 7-8yo Dell - still going strong. I would also recommend Alienware based on my (3?) yo PC, but they're meant more for gaming so if you don't need the bells and whistles (video and sound upgrades, faster speed, etc.), it's not worth the higher cost.

    My last 3 work Laptops have been Lenovos. I wouldn't recommend them because they apparently have a life expectancy of 3-4 years. My current one is almost on the 4 year mark and is on it's last legs. We're supposed to get new computers this year, and I'm just hoping that mine hangs on long enough for the roll-out.
