    Are you the bride? Who is hosting the shower? (It shouldn't be the bride.)

    Whoever is hosting the shower can call their guests to check in on RSVPs after the given RSVP-by date has passed, not before.

    The host should be the one to call and follow up with guests who have not RSVPed to the shower once the RSVP date has passed.
