True Life: I'm a Bridesmaid

I caught a rerun of the "I'm a Bridesmaid" episode of MTV's True Life yesterday. It reminded me of the WAY too many posts over on the bridal party board recently about bridesmaids not stepping up to their "obligations." One bride completely replaced her entire bridal party! It's one thing to read all the posts recently, but seeing it happen in front of you really allows you to see how awful it is. I just want my bridesmaids to stand up with me on my wedding day, because I love them and know how much they love and respect my relationship with my FI. Why is that so hard for some brides to get?

    Not to say that people don't suck, but MTV "reality shows" are pretty far from reality.

    I caught part of an old Bridezillas episode the other day (again, far from reality), and the bride basically told her one BM that she was fat, and presented her with a bigger size dress.
    It was horrifying. 

    Too much crap for the sake of pictures. The horror!
