XP: Questions to ask Makeup Artist

I'm having a phone conversation with my makeup artist this evening.  I'm pretty good at doing my own makeup, and I know what types of makeup are good for photos, weddings etc... Since the wedding is out of the country, I won't be able to have a trial session for my hair or makeup, so I'm relying solely on phone and email conversations at this time. She already has a photo of the look I'm trying to acheive, but I'm not sure what else I can ask her to make sure that she will know what to do on the day of my wedding.  This is one of the few things that I'm really stressing about because I would hate to have a bad experience when it comes to makeup or hair.  What would ya'll suggest asking her?

I would let her know about any allergies you have, or if you have sensitive skin in general. Let her know about colors that look good with your skin tone. Have you sent her a picture of yourself? Or just models with the look you're trying to achieve? If only the latter, I'd send her a picture of your clean face.

I have freckles, so I told my MUA I didn't want her to cake stuff on so much that they weren't visible. Stuff like that and your general preferences are probably how I'd steer the convo. You may want to ask her "is there anything I'm not asking that I should be?" That would open the door to things you might not even know about.

What products/brands do you use? Can I bring my own product? Is there an extra charge for fake lashes (if you want them)? How much time will you need to complete my look? Can you share pictures of past make-up jobs you've completed? Will you be able to provide me with samples of lip gloss/ mascara/ etc. for re-application if I need it the day of?

I don't really think I asked a ton of questions of my make-up artist but I also had a couple of trials so most of this stuff was addressed face to face.

ETA: During my trial, the make up artist noted some dryness around my eyes and my lips and requested that I focus special attention on those areas the week before the wedding. You'll definitely want to talk to her about your skin type, any issues you have, sensitivity, etc. so she can recommend things you might need to think about doing before the wedding.
