Any Watters/Love Marley "Whitney" brides?

Anyone out there who wore (or is going to wear) the Whitney gown by Watters in their Love Marley line?  I will be wearing that gown for my wedding.  Show me pictures of you in the dress!  How did you style it?

Re: Any Watters/Love Marley "Whitney" brides?

  • I'm in love with this dress but haven't found it in person yet!! Do you have any pictures with yourself in it? What color did you order? think I would do a long viel and earrings that dangle. I'm not sure if bling would look right with this dress?
  • I totally agree about the bling - this dress is so light and airy that bling just doesn't look right.  It looks too heavy with this dress.  So I'm going to have to keep things simple!

I tried the dress on in blush but I ended up ordering it in ivory.  The blush is lovely but it looks different depending on the lighting.  In some lighting you can barely tell it's blush but in some lights it really looks too pink and I didn't want to have a pink dress.  If it was more subtle I might have gone with the blush.  If you don't mind it coming off as pink then I'd highly recommend it.

Here are a couple of pics of me in the dress.  I'm wearing a subdued sparkly belt in the pics but I don't think I would really wear that.

Thank you for the pics!! It looks beautiful on you, I can't wait to find it at a salon. I've been checking out accessories online at BHLDN. They have a lot of vintage themed pieces that I think would go with the dress.

The dress reminds me a lot of the gown Amour by Ines Di Santo, which a lot of brides have worn. You could always google pics of if for inspiration too :)
  • I just looked up the Ines Di Santo gown and you're right - really similar!  Thanks for the tip.  I'll definitely be checking to see how others styled that gown.  :)
