Mt Charleston Wedding

Hello. I just got engaged on Valentine's Day. I live in Las Vegas so want to do something a little different. Does anyone have any info or experience with getting married on Mt Charleston? Thank you and looking forward to sharing this journey with you.

    Congratulations and welcome to the boards!!

    I'm also a Vegas local - nice to see another one planning a wedding here.

    I haven't heard of or seen many posts from brides getting married on Mt. Charleston. The only thing that would be a possible red flag for me would be transportation of guests up there. Unless most of/all your guests stay on-site, it could be a logistics nightmare.

    During a scouting trip I visited the Resort at Mt Charleston.  The wedding lady was very nice and friendly but we felt pretty let down when we got there.  The hotel is very old and outdated.  The view wasn't that great but we did visit in December, so maybe it is prettier in the spring or summer.  I read a post somewhere about a couple that simply brought their officiant to Mt Charleston and got married.  That could be an option for you.
