We have 1 room for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. So I was thinking it would go like this:
6:00 guests arrive & have appetizers and drinks and find their tables
6:15 or so start the ceremony
6:30 or so greet guests, finish cocktail hour
7:00 dinner, etc...
So we will basically be walking in on the cocktail hour to do the ceremony. Has anyone else done this? What kind of announcement do you make for people to gather around and make sure they aren't in the bathroom or something when we are ready to start (assuming they want to get closer and not all sit at their tables)?
