How would you suggest to respond to guests who RSVP'd to your wedding, you paid for their dinner's, expected them that day, they do not show up, then send lengthly emails rambling on about regretting not being able to make it, refrencing getting home from work late and having no childcare (for kids who are old enough to not need sitter). Upon not immediately responding to their emails they continue to send additional emails requesting our response.
Is it wrong or unfair of us to be upset, as notice was approx. 1 year in advance? We consider these no-show guests significant people in our lives. Should we not question their lame reasons for no showing all together?
Appreciate any feedback. Thank you.
