Just Booked Our Honeymoon!

Yep!  Just booked our honeymoon for the last week in July!  It will be a honeymoon/first anniversary celebration!
I'm so fricken excited I want to use all the exclamation points!

We are staying at Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas in Palm Beach Florida.
It's right on the ocean.  I can literally get out of the pool, walk a dock and be on the beach.

MIL has a timeshare there that she's letting us use this year.  We've been there once before and OMG it's relaxing.
We knew that we wanted to relax and not have to feel guilty about not exploring if we were to go to a new place.

I can't wait to eat at Johnny Longboats again.  Such amazing chicken wings.

What exciting vacations do you have?

We are going to Philly and NYC around Easter.  Might even try and hit up opening day at Yankee Stadium.

In November we were invited back to Anguilla (DH is doing a cooking event).  Although this time members are coming.  It might be more work-like if I have to do some entertaining.

My mom's 70th is this year.  I think another trip to DE will be in order.

We are trying to book Peru in September for a belated honeymoon but we can't make up our minds what we want to do besides the Inca Trail, so I haven't pulled the trigger yet even though I should have last month.

We are going to cabo in april. I'd like to do a driving vacation in the fall, maybe Kelowna, BC or down to montana/Spokane. One of my friends was planning on getting married in Jamaica for Jan 1, however they are now TTC, and may be pushing back the wedding.

I'm doing Memorial Day weekend in Panama City Beach. And then again for a couple days the week after the Fourth of July. I'm hoping FI will get to come too but I'm a beach bum and need my beach time so if he doesn't I'll still go for a couple of days.

I'm hoping we can work out a road trip honeymoon for the last week in October too. Thinking Colorado Springs, if I can work it out.

H and I are trying to get to the British Virgin Islands this year, but the Army makes life hard.

@hellosweetie1015H and I live (well, me sort of - we're long distance right now) in CO Springs, and I lived in Denver for 2 years as well. Let me know if you want tips/recs. We did our honeymoon in CO.

Looks amazing!  After much hemming and hawing over different spots, we ultimately decided on Punta Cana for our vacay in a few months.  We still have a fall vacation spot to decide on and are hoping to get away for a long weekend in the summer to a yet to be determined US location.

I'm going to stare at those pictures until spring. It's windy and -5 here.

We have a vacation coming up in a couple of weeks. We're taking a train to Seattle, spending a couple nights there, taking a train to San Francisco, spending a night there, and then taking a train back to Chicago via Nevada, Utah, etc. It's going to be a fun circle trip.

It's going to be about eight days altogether, and I'll be happy if it's over 40 degrees. If it's 50, I'll be ecstatic. If it's 60, I may kiss the ground and refuse to move until the Midwest is green and warm.

I'm SO excited for our honeymoon!  I started my job in August, and have barely been able to take any days off because I've had to save it for the wedding/honeymoon, so I'm MORE than ready for a weeklong Jamaican vacation!

Our honeymoon will be in aruba! We aren't 100% when yet though. Hopefully right after the wedding!

Portland, OR? That's where I am, and I must say, it's a wonderful city... If you've never been, let me know if you want any recommendations! (Also, we are missing winter here... It's been the warmest February on record. Which is a little disconcerting considering how bad the weather is elsewhere.)

hahaha!  The Azores were in our top picks, but DH decided he really wanted to go somewhere beachy and dive.  Can't complain with that.  The Azores is definitely still on our list of "must see" places though thanks to you!

I'm so excited for your trip, @paperpusher. That beach looks divine, and I love the pink building. Everything about that area just screams "tropical".

The last time I was in Florida, I was 13 years old. I've never been to Miami or the Keys, so I might try to talk H into going there next winter.

@wrigleyville it is divine! It was the first time I can remember ever waking up early and being ok with it. I woke up before everyone else and went down to the beach and collected seashells and swam. I even made a sandcastle and decorated it with seaweed!

H and I had a piña colada the other night and all I could think about was our time in Florida and how I can't wait to go back.

How gorgeous!  We're planning for Orlando (HP World and DW) and Miami (hello beach!) in May, so your pictures got me really excited   Yay for honeymoons!

We just got back from San Francisco/Napa/Santa Cruz on Wednesday! That was an adventure trip as we had never been to Cali and only had 3 full days to explore. Walked 10 miles the first day, 8 the second and 6 the third!

We have a week in Maine this summer. Rented a house on Frye Island/Sebago Lake for the week. Its waterfront so we have our own beach on a crystal clear lake. It also faces west so we'll get beautiful sunsets:

@pinkcow13, I'm so, so envious of you going to Australia!  We would have maybe been able to go there in July, but with FI's new orders and job, he won't be going.

OMG I need a vacation NOW!!!!

I'm finally getting back on my feet, so this year we're going to Cancun, Punta Mita, and England (so far). My dad is also trying to get me to go to Disney World at some point and I have to take a few trips home to visit family now that I'm well enough to travel. I have so much to catch up on.

I just gotta say how jealous I am of all y'all going to HP World. I tried to convince FI that we needed to go back for the honeymoon but he wants it to be "special" and "new" and "romantic" and all that crap. I said, "Diagon Alley is new! Universal is special! And how more romantic can it get than going back to the place you "for-real proposed"?!"

He didn't see the logic hahaha.

This fall, H and I are going to travel to Hungary with his grandparents to see where they grew up/their family that still lives there.  We haven't really ironed out too many details yet.

BUT more imminently, slothieguy told me that my birthday present is trip, but I don't get to find out where until my birthday (Tuesday!).  For the past month, he's been like a little boy waiting for Christmas, about to pee his pants because he's so excited to tell me.  .....I'm a little nervous, not going to lie.
