The wedding was this wekend and it was amazing!! Everything went pretty much perfect. The party was amazing!! Now is the not so fun part, changing my name. I have heard alot about misnowmrs.com and i have heard great things about it. Has anyone tried this website and if so what was your experiance??

    I used it and it was pretty useless.  All it did was give me the paperwork so I didn't have to go search for that.  But you still have to fill it out and go do the name change yourself.  I wouldn't waste your money and just find the paperwork yourself.

    One of the girls on my local board recommended it, but I haven't used it. When we applied for our marriage license, the lady there was really helpful, so I am currently waiting until we get the certified (or whatever they are called) copies back bc we live out of state from where we got married so I can make the changes. I have all of the paperwork printed and ready to go when I get the copies. IMO, I think it is all pretty easy and something that can be done really easily by yourself.

    Agreed. It would be a waste of money.  First go to the social security office.  They have the one form you need to fill out there.  All you need to do is bring your marriage license, social security card, and drivers license.  They will send you your new SS card via mail. 

    Call the DMV and ask if you need to have your SS card to get a new license. In my state, you need your new SS card to get the new ID.  If you don't just bring your old license and your marriage license.

    Once you have changed your SS card and license, go to your bank.  There you will need your marriage license.  Contact your credit card companies, gas/electric/water/telephone companies and do the same.  Be prepared to send in a copy of your marriage license if they ask. (Most won't).

    It's not that hard at all.

    Seems like a waste. It's not that hard to know what needs to be changed.
