NYC/NJ Knotties?

Hey NYC/NJ knotties or really anyone that's got a great restaurant to suggest. I need your help, DH and I are heading up to NYC for a wedding in April, we have saved two days before and two days after to enjoy on our own in the city. Where do we need to go and eat? Brunch is our favorite but really just anything food wise will do! Please give me your suggestions, and I am asking this now, in case I need to start making reservations well in advance.
Thanks!!!

I'm a BK girl and there are sooo many options all over NYC so it really depends on what type of cuisine you enjoy:

Here are some of my favorite places though:

    IMHO:

    Best Sushi: Sushi Yasuda
    Italian: Dell'Anima, La Masseria
    Seafood: David Burke Fishtail
    Pizza: Sal & Carmine's, Arturo's
Chinese: Hop Kee, Wo Hop, Joe's Shanghai for soup dumplings
    Ramen: Ippudo, Totto, Jin Ramen
    Momofuko Ko for anything
    Modern American: Cookshop

Walking & Eating: Eataly, Chelsea Market.

    Enjoy!

Sal & Carmines is definitely one of the best, if not the best, slices of pizza. It's inconvenient though for most people.

I love Jacob's Pickles on the UWS for brunch.

Heidi's House and Jones Woods Foundry for dinner on the UES.

I would skip Eately personally, it's a hellhole that is too crowded.

Depending on the date in April, Madison Square Eats may be running-it's next to Madison Square Park, there are a bunch of food stands with all kinds of different foods.
