Tux Shirt Material

Hello,

So FH and I just had our meeting for the tux choices and thought it went smooth but I realized that we did not ask a very important question, how breathable the material is! We went with a microfiber shirt. I have read mixed reviews online but wanted to know if anyone had experience with them or knew a little more. Thank you!!

    I was in a wedding party on a hot day last July, and was required to rent a tuxedo that happened to come with a polyester shirt. Synthetics feel a bit gross to me, but it was bearable. I'm in reasonably good shape and perspire very little - if either of those conditions were untrue, I'd expect it would get uncomfortable. In that case, I'd suggest an undershirt, and maybe a second shirt for the evening.
