Dress colors for the flower girl?

Hello all -

I'm having a bit of a dilemma. My wedding colors are Cerulean, Jade and Bisque. My bridesmaids are all wearing a Jade colored dress in chiffon. My dress is dark ivory. I don't know what color I should place my flower girl in. The dress she picked out doesn't come in dark ivory (Its an Alfred Angelo dress in satin, like mine). I don't know that I want her in the same color as my other girls, but I don't want a "white" color to clash with my dress and make it look dingy. I have the option of making the sash a different color as well. Please help!

Dude, breathe. You are massively overthinking. It's just a flower girl dress.

Why can't she be in the same color as the bridesmaids? Either way, she will absolutely not clash with you in white. Do you worry about weather walls will clash with you? White shirts? Table linens? Nope it will all be fine. My dress was ivory and my flower girl's was white. Trust me, I did not look like a dingy bride.

I say you ask the young lady what color she would like to wear and then cross it off the list of things to worry about.

So your colors are blue, green and ivory.

If your BMs are wearing blue why can't the flower girl wear green? And I agree with manateehugger, if the flower girl is wearing white who cares?! Her dress will not make your dress look dingy. In fact, no will notice or care that her dress is white and yours is ivory. The only way people may notice is if you plan on carrying around your flower girl with you all night and pointing out the fact that your dresses don't match.
