Alteration Question

Anyone out there a seamstress or does alot of sewing?  The dress I found that I want has a chapel train.  How hard would it be to hem it to a floor length dress? For a professional...not me.  I cannot sew lol.

    I think it would be fairly simple depending on the fabric and the layers. The more layers the dress has, the more expensive it will be.  Lace will also be a lot trickier to work with.

    Another option is to have the dress bustled and just never un-bustle it. I have a friend who had an outdoor wedding that involved walking up a dirt aisle.  She didn't want her train to drag, so she had it bustled for the entire wedding.
