This cracks me up! Everyone getting ready the morning of the wedding! I want a photo just like this!!

How about this stupid-ass picture? Guys, hurry, get into position. Make it look so funny that we're all getting ready in this bathroom together. Melissa, pretend you're in the shower. Amanda, start curling your hair or something. Rachel, make it look like you're taking a dump- it will be hilarious.
Is it me or do they all look like the same person?
OMG, yes. Yes, they do. And I spot very bad photoshop too. Is this supposed to be like a... time-lapse kind of thing? Showing the bride in various stages of getting ready?
Three of them look like they are wearing the same thing on their hand (at least the hands I can see) so its either a time-lapse or a bridezilla that wanted the ultimate matchy-matchy look.

I can see the same ring on three hands also (opposite hand as bracelet)... so I think it is just a time lapse of same person.  It was bad enough to be all the bridesmaids, but knowing it's all just one person makes it even worse.

Thats what I thought too.  And I really hope thats what it is, otherwise shower girl is a little too interested in what toilet girl is doing.

What is with this pose?  It looks like she is about to either undo his fly and give him a blowjob or that she is kneeling down/worshipping him.
Wait, I thought the "about-to-give-my-new-husband-a-blow-job" shot was ESSENTIAL to a legitimate wedding...? Shit, I guess I need to start over.

So awhile back I posted a picture of a FB "friend" on her wedding day. She had all her bridesmaid wearing de-bazzled sport bras and silky robes while they were getting ready. She then decided to use this picture as her cover photo.

It is one of the worst BM gifts/ wedding pictures I have even seen.

I'm assuming this is supposed to be "bedazzled" sports bras, and so many thoughts went through my head after reading this. Where do you even buy bedazzled sports bras, and who would even want a bedazzled sports bra? They sound uncomfortable, and definitely not something that most people would work out in. There is just so much nope in this.
    -------------------boxes-------------------------

You buy them from any store that sells dance clothing.  You'll find lots of bras with sequins, glitter, rhinestones, metallic fabric, etc. I would expect that costume shops or theater stores would have them too.

I just pictured something like this in my head, but on a sports bra, and instantly was reminded of middle school bedazzling parties and the possibility of bridezillas holding bedazzling parties for their bridesmaids so that they all had cute bras because OMG PICTURES!

My photographer did amazing work for my wedding, but she recently posted a photo that made me nauseous as all hell. It was a one year old's birthday party , and it was decked out like a wedding.  The mother was in what seemed to be a white wedding gown with hot pink flowers, the father in a tux with a hot pink bow tie.  The little girl was in a hot pink dress with a veil.  It was held at the convention center (So it must have been a huge event with over 200 people). And they had crystal tree centerpieces and a five tier wedding birthday cake.  It was the most disgusting case of AW I have ever witnessed. Respecting my photographer, I won't share these pictures, but it was a crazy eyesore that I can't unsee.

Again with the whole "Let's pretend we don't actually want to get married."

My first thought when I saw this picture was that the bride has no legs and we shouldn't be making fun of her... Or maybe she's standing in a hole dug in the ground? Either way... awkward!

In any case, thank you snarky ladies, for making my Monday morning oh-so-much better with laughs!
  • So I got the idea to google "boudoir bridal party photos" thanks to a thread over on Moms and Maids.  Yes, this is a thing, apparently.  If anyone ever asks this of me, I would strongly rethink our friendship.

Yeah, to me this is just giving in to the fantasy that when a group of female friends get together, they all strip off their clothes and hang out in their underwear. Like the belief that girls always have semi-naked pillow fights at sleepovers. I've been to a lot of sleepovers in my life. No pillow fights ever occurred, and everyone wore actual clothing/PJs, not lingerie...

  • On the fake laughing photos, a Facebook friend posted all of her wedding photos, including the 12 photos of the bridal party fake laughing. So much secondhand shame.

  • Re: the very first picture in the thread, I'm very seriously impressed at whatever she's wearing under that dress to hold the boobs up that high. I round up to a B on a good day, so the architecture and engineering required for this task is totally foreign to me.
  • I hate any all pictures that make the couple look like they are models.  You are not models.  You do not need to look off in the distance with some intense look on your face that, in the end, will just make you look like you are constipated.  You are not in one of those weird cologne ads.  You are a newlywed and you should look over the moon happy and smiling.

Really? I love those! I feel like the people who hate them are people with self-esteem low enough to believe that not anyone can pass as models.

That is an embarassing (for you) generalization, and doesn't even really make sense.

I don't think it is embarrassing at all for me to think that everyone is beautiful enough to pass as a "model." I enjoy people's unique (or even "common") features.

I'm pretty hot, even now at 19 weeks pregnant.

I still wouldn't feel comfortable with pictures like that, and no one should feel entitled to ask me to take them. That's why I hate the pictures - someone was very likely pressured into something they were uncomfortable with. Since she'll never know for sure if they're truly comfortable or not, no bride should ever ask.

Yeah, I absolutely agree that "no one should feel entitled to ask [you or any couple who feels uncomfortable] to take them." Personally, I did not find mine uncomfortable-- a bit on the corny side, sure lol, but not terrible or even bad.  I definitely disagree with the poster I was responding to originally that they "just make you look like you are constipated".

Ooh! I have something to contribute to the "weird bridal model" pictures:

Every time I see this picture, I just go all grandma on her and I think, "Stand up straight!"

OK, bridal model pictures!  Boy do I hate the "hunching back to look hot" pose.  Like honestly wtf?  I have back problems that causes me not to stand straight up like a "normal" person, and I cannot comprehend why someone would imitate that "look".

I do not understand this picture AT ALL. What are they trying to say? How old is your bread that it would penetrate a person's skull? I just. I can't even.

I'm 99% sure the first photo is a porn thumbnail. ButI'll still be sure to forward it to my photographer as inspiration.

I think it was Buzzfeed or something that ran a post about weird Russian wedding pictures, and this one was my favorite because, well, how could it not be?
    That is kind of amazing
