Gold crystal sash

Been having the hardest time finding a gold sash. My shoes and other accessories will be gold since it falls in line with my wedding colors but I cant find a sash that I love and isnt crazy expensive.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Firstly, what's "crazy expensive" to you?  How much embellishment do you want on it?  

Have you checked out pre-owned wedding sites?  You can normally buy things at 50% or less of their original price, and most of the time they've been worn once, professionally cleaned, and have been taken good care of.  Gold may be harder to find, but on a lot of those sites you can set up an alert and receive an email when new items come in.  

What color is your dress?  Would be it worthwhile looking for options that match the dress, rather than the accessories?

No more than $200.

No I havent checked those sites but I will now. My dress is ivory. I've found belts that I love but I am afraid it will clash with my jewelry since its the gold backing with crystals

As I said, you may have to set up an alert.  Otherwise, do you have any friends who were married in a sash that you love?  My circle of friends is pretty open to lending wedding gear, although I can't speak for yours.  Otherwise, if you know how, or know someone you trust who's open to the job, I'd consider making one.  You'll spend a lot less than $200 if you shop well, and you'll end up with something completely unique.

chibiyui. Etsy has been fabulous during my whole wedding planning process. And it's nice knowing that your items are handmade and unique. Just be careful who you buy from... make sure you're not buying cheap made-in-China knock offs! You can try to avoid this by narrowing your search to "handmade" and "ships from United States."

I love PP's suggestions. You could also just go to a fabric store and find a gold satin ribbon. If you want it to be fancier than that, ask your seamstress to add an applique to it.

(And I just bought a really beautiful sash this weekend at the bridal boutique where I got my dress. It was something like $95).
