Bridemaid dresses timing

We decided on these dresses the problem is they are being discontinued. Do we buy them now or wait until next year and find something else.

I'd wait until next year.  Things change.  People change.

Bridesmaid dresses change very little.  There is always a variation of a theme from years past.  Wait until next year and buy the updated version.

You'll definitely be able to find something really similar next year.  

I'd put it off.  You don't want your BMs locked in to staying the same size for 12 months.  I had enough difficulty convincing a few of my ladies that they needed to order the dress three months out (the company I used takes two months to make them) as they were really worried they wouldn't fit when the day came.

Definitely wait. People's weight changes, they could get pregnant, all kinds of different things could happen in that span of time. And then what happens if ONE of them can't possibly fit in the dress anymore, but it's discontinued, and all the other girls have that dress? 

You'll be able to find one very similar to that, or you'll end up changing our mind and pick a totally different one that's just as awesome. Ya never know.
