Been on vacation a week and a half and it feels like months in knottie-land! So the realtor listed our home 3 days before we left because it would be easier to schedule showings while we weren't around. We were 100% NOT expecting to touch down in London and have emails and voicemails with an offer!! Two bedrooms are a tough sell and our school district is a tough sell so we had braced for 3-6 months on market. So that is crazy exciting, and we will move into my in-laws vacant apartment they own until we find a house we love (absolutely nothing out there that we want right now).
So England was amazing. The countryside, and Bath SOO beautiful! Met up with a friend for pizza, did all the usual stuff like Tower of London, London Eye, Big Ben, etc.
Iceland was crazy. Our hotel lost the reservation but luckily had ONE free room to give us. They had the worst rain/ wind storm since 2006 which pushed back some of our tours and we never got to go on the super Jeep tour or see northern lights. But it was still awesome, we saw waterfalls, and geysers, and the Blue Lagoon. H lost his god damn wedding ring in the Blue Lagoon. But if you remember, my H is terrified of international travel after I made him go to Asia. Well he was smitten with both countries and is already talking about going back, and traveling more. So yaaaaaaay!! English language and hot dogs/ fish n chips for the win
