How to punk this dress up a little?

I bought a dress off ModCloth. I was originally going for black but decided I will spare my groom, who is a little more traditional than I am. Anyways I was wondering what kind of black accessories might go. I have a black and grey script chest tattoo and a black and grey swallow on my upper arm, along with short platinum blond hair. But I'm wondering if I could get away with a black bird cage veil or fascinator. I'm also very tall so I'm not wearing heels. So maybe shoe suggestions would be good as well. Thanks!

I love that you are a nontraditional bride. I am not 100% sure on what punk really is but I have seen some nice ones on Pinterest. I included some pics below. Most brides are in converse or boots. Hope this helps.

I think black accents would look awesome with that creamy colour and the girly look of that dress. Kind a punk-Chanel thing, you know? I love the idea of a black headpiece, shoes, and possibly sash.

I think you really need to wear a black belt/sash if you're going to wear other black accessories, otherwise they will just lookout of place.

How about a belt/sash, black point-toe flats with an ankle strap, a fascinator, some stacked bracelets, and if it's in cooler weather a short leather jacket?

I agree that a black sash would help make black accessories cohesive. I would play off the amazing rose top of your dress and do a black rose with a birdcage veil. I am guessing no necklace bc of the tattoo? The tat may also help tie in the black accessories.

If you really want to go punk rock, since your dress is long, Doc Martens and boots in general would fit the bill.

You could also do a black bracelet or a black rose bracelet, but many black rose bracelets tend to be more goth than punk.

You sound like a super fun person! Best of luck to you, and I hope you find a good balance between punk and your more traditional groom! My man also tends to be a little more traditional than me, (not that that means a lot) but has been ok with most of my sometimes outlandish ideas for our wedding.
