Hi there! Can anyone recommend a makeup artists who's based in the NYC/NJ area who is budget friendly and well versed with a range of skin tones? I have skin tones ranging from a tanned Asian bridesmaid who is a light yellowish brown and my mother is Black and has a skin tone similar to that of Lisa Bonet. I myself have a complexion similar to that of Gabrielle Union while another bridesmaid who is East Indian has a complexion similar to Mindy Kaling. I really want someone who has experience with different skin tones even if they aren't professional because I find that professionals often do too much contouring, shading etc. and make you look powdery or ghostly especially when not familiar with working with darker skin, and warmer undertones. Please help!
