Stores to look for bridal shoes?

I'm looking for ideas on stores to check out for my bridal shoes... normally I am very proficient at shoe shopping but I haven't had any luck so far at the obvious places (department stores, dsw, etc)... so any suggestions on where to look?  I'm not looking for anything super unique... ~2" heel, ivory, maybe lace overlay...

Was going to suggest all the places you're already trying. I got mine at 6pm.com but I didn't go for typical "bridal shoes" which just aren't my style. Mine were turquoise suede pumps.

Yeah, I'm going with a pair of mint 3" patent leather heels. You don't have to wear bridal shoes. But if you want to, why not just Google exactly what you want?

I would suggest looking at Nina shoes. Zappos carries a lot of them plus free returns are great. Based on what you said you are looking for I think you might like some of these options.

I had the best luck "filtering" on Zappos and 6pm. I chose heel height (low), colors ivory, white, gold, and the sorted price low to high.

I agree with the Nina comment. I think that's what mine are.

But I also just got a cute pair of heels instead of "bridal" shoes.

I wanted something particular (turquoise, sparkly) so I just used Amazon. Their filtering is pretty good.

are you not having luck because you're not finding anything that fits the description, or its not in budget, or just not liking what you are finding that fits the heel/color/style description?

Yeah just keep googling and looking at stores, go to bridal shops and ask them they might know a better place. I know Payless Shoes online has a decent "special occassion" selection.

But same as above, I'm not going with a typical "bridal" shoe either, mine are chinese laundry pink suede sandals... I lucked out and got them on sale at what happened to be a bridal store, but they aren't bridal shoes (they sold leopard print shoes there too, so they just have a random selection of heels at times). Maybe re-think your shoe? You can wear anything you like! It's your day.

I found my shoes by checking Nordstroms, Macys, Kate Spade and DSW website every week for about 2 months. It took some time, but the "perfect" shows showed up (in my case, light gold, and covered in crystals). I was a little hopeless one month after starting my search, but within the last few weeks a whole bunch of options arrived. 

As long as your looking far enough in advance to get your shoes by your dress fitting, you'll be fine. Wedding season is almost upon us, so they're all building up their inventory,

I honestly ended up getting mine on Amazon!  I was searching 6pm.com to see if I could get a good deal, and then the same $240 Badgley Mischka shoes that I was planning to buy for $80 on 6pm.com randomly showed up on my Amazon for FORTY DOLLARS.  Plus I'm a Prime Member,  It was insane.

So, yeah, try Amazon, 6pm- ModCloth is great, too!

thank you everyone for the suggestions!  i was just looking for more options of places to look since i'm not finding anything i like right now... though i'm hoping that as summer & wedding season gets closer there will be more options!

They may be a little high priced but I ended up going with Hey Lady Shoes. I was picky with my shoes especially since I can't wear heels and I wanted something that was bridal but could be worn everyday with skinny jeans. I ended up getting a pair of one of their flats the smitten with little bow.
