I have to work tomorrow and I have 4 days worth of crap to do that needs to be fit into the next day and a half. But I'm still happy it's Friday.

I didn't need to get work done today.

What's the Easter/Passover plans?  We have brunch with the IL's and dinner at my sister's.  It's supposed to be 65 and sunny Easter day.  I might wear a dress.

Re: FRIDAY!

  • If you have a girl that likes science, but wants to wear pink and dresses:

I ordered some stuff from ON on 3/28, including a maxi skirt for myself that I wanted to wear on Easter, but it won't be here until 4/9.  4/9!!!!  Are you kidding me?

Anyway, the plan for Sunday is to have lunch/egg hunt/family time at my parents' house and dinner at DH's parents'.  Or, I'm assuming anyway.  MIL hasn't said anything to us about anything going on Sunday.

I'm trying to get rid of some scalloped edgers on CL.  We're sick of having to re-place them every year and even then they end up crooked by June.  Also, I'm not really a fan of how they look.  They came with the house.  Someone from CL texted me at 10:42 last night.  Ugh.

M2 has her first gymnastics class today.  I've been working hard to get her excited and talk it up and make sure she knows I won't be right next to her.  I've explained it will be like soccer where she goes off with a coach or preschool teacher.  She was all set then had a melt down that the class is INside.  ugh.

DH is off today.  We were going to go to the zoo but it's raining.  Saturday I think we're going to hit Home Depot's build thing.  Sunday we're going to FIL's.  They do a big egg hunt and lots of food so it should be fun. I need to decide if I want to go to 7:30 Mass or no Mass.  A regular Sunday is enough of a crazy town.

Today is good.  I am working half a day, mostly because I'll be at 40 at 12:30, not because I don't have work.  Oh no...I could stay until 5 pm today and tomorrow if I wanted to, that much work.  But the bosslady freaks if I work over 40.  Uh huh.

I stayed up for H last night, he got some training position, so that is fantastic.  And I wanted to tell him congratulations in person.  He beat out people who have more time there than him, but he's really pretty great at what he applied for, and he's a good employee, and coworker so I know that helped factor in.

So I'm lacking sleep already but I'm trying to keep it moving.

Tomorrow I sit down and do some design work for an upcoming event while DH goes and tables at the big farmers market opening.  He wants me to go with him.  I'm not crazy, dude and you're getting paid.  Recycling center trip.  Sunday we've got a gardening volunteer event, then off to dinner with my parents for Easter.  Somewhere in there we're cleaning house and doing laundry.

ETA:  also making a sourdough bread for us and lasagnas for the campaign.  The oven will be working furiously while I work at the computer.

They are janky in that I hate having to mess with them every year.

    Oh yeah...Easter.

We're celebrating with H's family---and dumping MIL's birthday in too, but only because all the kids feel guilted into it.  Which always makes for a GREAAT party/sarcasm.

Also---I expect much silent judging of SIL's new house as H thinks it's a dump.  But his standards are pretty high (you know...non leaking windows, can lights not hanging from the ceiling---that kind of stuff), so we'll see how I feel about her house.
  • Morning. I realized that I have not been taking my medication because I'm a total space case and it's affecting my ability to sleep. So I am dragging ass this morning because I'm tired but I did take my meds so that's good. Today I actually have work to do- they gave me a very, very, very time new assignment so there's that.

Tonight I need to grocery shop. We need to bring something for Easter dinner on Sunday but I have no idea what to bring. Partly because I have no idea what anyone else is bringing and because I don't really really want to waste time making something that is going to have to be served alongside dried out ham and greasy whatever else.

Saturday I'm going shopping with my mom.

Sunday is Easter dinner with ILs. I fully expect to be drunk about a hour after being home.
  • My Mom is here for Easter. She's staying with the newlyweds.:)

I'm going to hang out with family this weekend.

  • I stayed up too late most nights this week and am dragging today.  Not even my coffee is helping.

Tonight we may go out to dinner.  If not, I'll run out and get some groceries and other things needed for Easter. I also need to attack the pile of laundry or we'll have no clean underwear!

Saturday I'm making dinner rolls to take to Easter Dinner at my brother's house.  I'm also bringing a salad and am thinking I'll some version of spinach/strawberry salad.  I think it'll just be us, my mom and the 3 of them.  But my other brother may be in town and if so, he'll be there too.

Sunday is church and then dinner and festivities at my brother's.  It doesn't look like it'll be warm enough to spend time outside or wear something spring-y.
