Hello Ladies,

I just crossed over to the other side! I'm looking to be able to talk with other newlywed brides about all the "new" beginning stuff! I'll lurk for a bit before I say anything, but so far I like what I see!

A bit about me:
-DH and I were married on 7/25/10 in Malibu, CA
-I am African American and DH is Indian and we had two traditional ceremonies & a mulitcultural reception
-There were 220 people at our wedding
-We honeymooned in Jamaica
-We are currently in the middle of buying a house & have 50 more days until we close escrow.
-DH & I dated for almost 10 years before we got hitched

Hi! I'm new, too! I thought i'd just add on to this board instead of making a new one. I used the knot a lot for planning, but didn't actually participate in the boards.
