Aria music and aisle

Hey girls I need some help!
What's everyone going for for their ceremony music, are you going for the pianist or your own music?

I really would like some aisle decor but is it me or are the prices crazy?! Has anyone sorted out a custom aisle with their co ordinator for a cheaper price?

Thanks!

Re: Aria music and aisle

  • I'm interested in this as well. I was thinking of just leaving it plain as its so expensive to have Isle decor and I really like the chapel already and think it's very pretty. I'd be interested to know any tips anyone else has though xx
  • When I was having my wedding there, I was told I could bring in my own stuff as long as it was "fake."...fake flowers and candles. This was going to work for me as I planned on having fake flowers and my friend owns a company with beautiful fake candles that I was going to borrow.

  • I am getting married at Aria and I'm not doing anything with the aisle.  I watched a lot of the videos online, and the aisle decor never stood out to me in the ones that had it verses the ones that didn't.  I just don't think its worth the hassle or the price, for my style.

We are bringing our own music for the bridal entrance and the exit song, but the rest we're using the pianist in the Chapel.

  • I want to use my own music. Having a pianist or harpist or the standard songs doesn't particularly interest me. As for flowers, if we decide to go with a chapel (five weeks from scouting!), I'll just use whatever's provided, as I could really care less.

  • We are doing one of the aisle treatments and have elected to have it to continue onto the altar. I'm not having a wedding party so I was afraid it may look empty. Keep in mind there are more altar treatments to choose from too! I found some from the art museum that I preferred and received a decent quote to use them in the chapel. If you look at the selections on the aria wedding website, they should show all the options from the fireplace, pool, and art museum too.
  • I really wanted candles but it's just too expensive. So probably nothing for the aisle :(

We're using the pianist and not worrying too much about the music because I myself never remember any music from other people's weddings! But I can't decide on what songs to use for the entrance and exit from their list, which ones are you ladies using?

  • We did our own entrance and exit.  I didn't really have any on the list that meant anything to me.  So, we just created our own.  Actually, my sister is singing All of My by John Legend as I walk in!

  • I love the candles and petals but don't think I can justify the price! Music wise I'm still unsure fiancé isn't keen on pianist but it's growing on me ..,

  • I'm doing something unorthodox, @LondonGirl85 (granted, what's orthodox about a Vegas wedding?) I plan on walking down the aisle to Summertime by My Chemical Romance. The hubby-to-be has not decided yet. :)

I'm not having music. But I'm realizing I didn't really think about how to get the guests' attention when the ceremony is starting. Maybe I could just have my mom yell "Hey y'all!" XD

ETA: Not having ceremony music. DEFINITELY having reception music!
