I finished a draft!

After several false starts and I don't know how many months, I have finished a draft of a novel! I'm hoping that I can start submitting to agents by October, so this is the first step to making that happen. I'm really happy with this book. I hope it goes places.

That's a great thing to celebrate! I'll be celebrating that as well.

It's a young adult sci fi novel. Not my first attempt at a novel (or publishing) but hopefully this is the project that makes it. If it does, though, it'll be a couple years yet before it comes out.

I've been spending way too much time on finding exactly what I had in mind, and finally happened across these on eBay. Spent a little more than I planned, but I can't wait to get them!

I'm celebrating the fact that I took tomorrow off, so today is friday! FI and I are making the trek back home which means I'm going to get some serious snuggles in with my 5 month old nephew that I haven't seen since Christmas.

Oh god, I've done, like nothing for my comic. I have like, half a chapter thumbnailed, 6 pages of roughs and arcs lined out and that's it.

I need a comfort mountain dew.

Those are awesome! I actually also found my wedding shoes today too. After months of looking and going back and forth between styles, I found a pair and was instantly like "Perfect." I know it's early, but still excited.
