I just wanted to give a quick review of my wedding venue,
the Steele Burden Memorial Orangerie. It’s an absolutely stunning venue and if
I could do my wedding over again, I would have it in the exact same location. I
was really looking for something that was outdoors and surrounded by beauty,
even towards the end of fall (We got married November 29th). There are rose gardens right across from the Orangerie,
as well as forest path’s in the back. The only downside for some might be that it
is not an all exclusive venue. I had to rent out everything, but it was
completely worth it. I did have a month-of coordinator, Stacy Parker-Gala Productions, who was
absolutely amazing at coordinating the last minute details, as well as arranging
my beautiful beautiful flowers, which helped out a lot. This location really
has the capacity to be anything, from an adorable DIY wedding to a high end
elegant event.
When I was deciding on a location I scoured the internet for
photos of weddings that had taken place at the Burden Center. It’s truly a
beautiful location but there is not much photographic evidence. I’m attaching a
few photos from my wedding that took place at the end of November that show the
front of the building, as well as the pavilion that is off to the left of the
main building. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of the back, which is
where I had my reception. If I find any other photos, I’ll be sure to post
