AW: I won a signed hockey stick!!!!

DH and I have a 6 game package to the Columbus Bluejackets games (a pro hockey team for those who don't follow sports/hockey) and tonight was the final home game of the season.

To celebrate Fan Appreciation Night everyone attending the game received a team poster, they tossed out more tshirts from the cannon, free pizza coupons and fan games.  Before the game started their official Twitter account said if we tweeted them our seat location we might be selected to win "cool stuff".

I won a hockey stick signed by the whole team!!!!  DH keeps trying to hijack it for his man cave.  lol

    My friend went to the fan appreciation day for the Bruins. While, she didn't win anything, a lot of people did.

    Very cool!!  The t-shirt cannon is my favourite part of hockey games.  I wanted one for the wedding but DH nixed that, along with all of my other awesome ideas.

    The past two seasons they have been dropping Ohio Health BPA drinking jugs.  I'm not sure if they have anything fun inside or not.  DH and I both mentioned that they were dropping tons of them last night.  Way more than normal!

    Nice!! My previous company had Bruins seasons tickets that they would always let me use for free. They got a letter about getting a free signed stick but someone had to drive the hour to the city to pick it up. The GM didn't want to so I said I will if I can keep it. He said sure. But it was only signed by one guy who got traded the next year so that was sad haha. But DH still loves the thing.

    That's awesome!  We have season tickets to the Avalanche and I haven't won anything like that!  We've won some parachute t-shirts and then the usual season ticket perks.  Tonight's the last game and they do fan appreciation, they randomly pick fans to go down on the ice after the game and the players give them the jerseys literally off their backs.  I'd die if that happened to me LOL

    The Bluejackets did that last night too!  You had to enter via text and then they selected the winners at random.  A twitter acquaintance won a jersey and she was hanging it up to dry out since it was drenched in sweat.  lol  They players all signed the jerseys so washing them is kinda out of the question.  I bet those things are going to smell so "pretty".  lol
